1. Our commitment
Go.LisbonGuide.org is committed to making travel information accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to follow the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and to continuously improve the experience for all users.
2. Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy.
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, search and forms.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to mobile, tablet and desktop.
- Readable typography and scalable text.
3. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content — particularly third-party embeds (booking widgets, maps, video players) — may not yet meet our accessibility goals. We are working to address these limitations.
4. Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at accessibility@lisbonguide.org. We aim to acknowledge your feedback within 5 business days.
5. Enforcement
EU residents have the right to refer accessibility complaints to the relevant national enforcement body under Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
